About

Osteopathy is a passion for us at Surrey Osteopathic Care. No two issues or injuries are the same, so our treatments are tailored to your unique case. Our aim is to understand why a particular area is painful. By taking the time to take a detailed history it is possible to understand why your body has chosen its particular strategy to function, even if it is a strategy that may be causing you pain. We are interested in your pain, however we are more interested in why you have pain. By understanding the why it is possible to create a long lasting solution.

Sally Wade, Osteopath BSc (Hons) Ost PGDip WH

I have been working as an Osteopath for over 10 years and set up Surrey Osteopathic Care in order to provide the highest standard of osteopathic treatment for Guildford and the surrounding areas.

I have a special interest in the treatment of babies and children and help babies with a wide range of issues such as difficulties with feeding, reflux and colic. It can often feel very isolating when you are struggling with feeding issues but there is so much help available - to find out how Osteopathy can help improve your baby’s latch click here.

I have real love for helping women recover from birth, whether it be a vaginal birth or a c-section. I see a lot of women in my clinic who feel unsupported in their post-birth recovery, feeling confused about how to get back to exercise and what they can do to improve their recovery. All women should see a pelvic floor specialist after birth and so offer a specialist Mummy MOT service - to find out more about why you should see specialist after birth click here.

My other passion lies in helping women who are suffering with chronic pelvic pain. Having suffered with endometriosis myself I know how debilitating the pain can be and often how alone it can make you feel. Whether you are suffering from pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary incontinence, endometriosis, period problem or sexual pain there is so much help available. Osteopathy can really help relieve the symptoms associated with a lot of these conditions - find out more here. I have already helped hundreds of women with pelvic issues - using a mixture of hands on treatment, specific exercise programs and evidence based approaches to relaxation and education we can work together to get to the bottom of why you are suffering and put together a plan to get you back to feeling great again.
